An Awesome Day of fishing offshore in the gulf stream from Topsail Island, North Carolina with fish catches of Tuna, Wahoo, Amberjacks, Grouper, African Pompano, Cobia, and more. Aboard the Reel Return, it was Captain Scott Erickson, Boat Captain Taylor Perdue, and Mike Becker. We were trolling the bluewater, deep freestyle jigging in 175 to 250 feet of water with Blue Water Candy jigs and other lures 70 miles off the beach. This fishing is hard to beat anywhere; Wrightsville Beach, Wilmington ,the Outer Banks, Myrtle Beach, Emerald Isle, Hatteras…all great fishing but doesn’t beat home; Topsail.
