Just picked up a 7′ 2″ with a 3000 sabalos. Did some biscayne bay fishing, trout, snapper, cuda, blue fish, even jumped a 40lb tarpon and the rod was remarkably strong with the being reel as equally amazing with the drag and smoothness. Went out to choko and pulled in three red fish and whooped them with this rod. Will be buying more soon!

If the rod gets damaged so easily, how are we supposed to transport it? Just wondering because I don’t live with the ocean in my backyard, so I will have to transport the rod before I can use it. Does that mean that if I go over a pothole, my rod has just broken?
