A place to put your hook when transporting your pole. Alot of people use they eyelet used for the line, but that’s not good for your pole.

What is the best money for fishing in runescape?

Posted by admin on September 1st, 2010 and filed under Fishing | 4 Comments »

My fishing level is 91, and i want to know the best thing to fish for the best money. if i fish rocktail, then i get around 52m, and it wud only take about a month. if i fish shark, then i will get around 90m, but il have it around november. you tell me your opinion please.

What I remember circulating the forums was that monkfishes offer the fastest money and fishing experience. I could be completely wrong though, try researching monkfish nonetheless.

From the two candidates you’ve selected definitely choose Rocktail. For the sake of argument lets say that you fish Rocktail at the same rate for the same time you’ll get:

52, 000, 000 * 2 [months] = 104, 000, 000

From fishing sharks you’d get less than that, not to mention the speed at which you get sharks would make fishing even more tedious.

How do you start fishing in Sacramento?

Posted by admin on August 29th, 2010 and filed under Fishing | 3 Comments »

My dad was diagnosed with kidney failure and wanted to take his kids fishing before he undergoes a transplant surgery. He purchased a boat and doesn’t know how to get started. Where’s the best place for catfish and a very easy boating trip in/near Sacramento?

There’s a river flowing right through Sacramento…hit that spot.

what is the difference between 1 speed and 2 speed fishing reels?

Posted by admin on August 26th, 2010 and filed under Fishing Reels | 2 Comments »

A one-speed reel has a single gear ratio, generally something like 5.3 to 1 (written 5.3:1), which means that for every rotation of the handle, the spool rotates 5.3 times.

For big game fishing, there are reels made which have two gear ratios — a fast one for doing normal retrieves, and a slow one, which is very helpful when winching in a big fish. (It’s like the low gear vs the high gear on a bike — you use the low gear for going up hills, and the high gear when there’s less resistance, like on level ground.)

In the low gear, you gain less line per crank, but it’s much easier to gain line. Generally the lower gear isn’t needed unless you’re using heavy line (50 pound test and up) and dealing with correspondingly heavy fish.

These reels tend to be expensive, both for the intricate gearing and for the sturdy construction.

what are good fishing rods for a beginner fisher and what are good baits.?

Posted by admin on August 26th, 2010 and filed under Fishing Rods | 12 Comments »

need to be availible in england and the baits must not need to go in the fridge or be alive.

you can pick up a cheap silstar carp rod for about £30 and a reel will set you back about £20+ then theres the line, hooks ,landing net etc etc . bait wise i would try floating bread or dog biscuit. try bennets of Sheffield or Argos or just get a fishing magazine and look at the bargains.
